@Michelle: Exactly. Even though some of the quirky mentions would strike the client as “negative,” they’re all part of the overall positive Trader Joe’s experience. Those “negative” inclusions increase the spot’s credibility and also make loyal TJ shoppers feel as though they are more than customers, they are part of a culture or a group.
