For 2 hours, 23 minutes on Tuesday night, Barbara Rosenblat delivered on her promise to share a ton of information about How To Become An Audiobook Narrator.
This posting is for people who attended “live” (or who got up very early Wednesday morning to listen to the mp3 recording) to post their candid reviews.
I’m making the mp3 recording available for download for just a few days.

Dan you are a very astute moderator. You have a wonderful way of clarifying questions and answers on the listener’s behalf.
Barbara- what a gem! Thank you so much for sharing your wealth of experience. Bless your cotten socks!!! BTW, in my humble opinion your British accents are spot on! Brava!! Bravi tutti!!
Wonderful information!!! Now the next challenge – work on getting a demo made!! Thanks so much!!!
This was GREAT! Learned a lot from one of the best!
Dan,
thank you once again for bringing another fabulous, knowledgeable, humorous speaker to share her words of wisdom with us!
Dan, you rock!
Barbara,
I couldn’t write fast enough to keep up with you.
Thank you so much for sharing such great information. I’ve been in a voice over lull for quite some time, but now I’m so excited about putting everything I’ve learned tonight into practice. You brought me back to life again! 🙂
I really appreciate you! Thanks again,
Thanks for a GREAT teleseminar! As usual, Barbara Rosenblat was classy, funny, and helpful. The session was full of gems that any aspiring voice talent would be lucky to learn.
I’ve listened to over 1,000 audiobooks, (many by Barbara Rosenblat), and she truly IS one of the world’s finest narrators. Barbara is consistently entertaining, her respect for her audience comes through every performance, and she really does (her words) “support the author in telling great stories.”
It was a privilege to listen in! Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for hosting this teleseminar. It was truly inspiring to listen Ms. Rosenblat share her knowledge on the art and craft of narrating audiobooks.
First, thanks so much for making this teleseminar available! It answered many questions I had had(and others I hadn’t had!), and I now feel much more confident that audiobooks are a branch of this great VO business at which I should try my, uh,… hand. Barbara was just so generous and gracious with her time and expertise, and you did a great job of drawing out her responses, in the best interviewer style. I especially appreciated your last “stumper” question from the VO artist in Europe … but was less than encouraged by Barbara’s answer, since I reside even further off the beaten track … Israel!
