Any advice on where to start? DAN REPLIES: Very seriously, your best bet is to pull up stakes, pick and a country, and move there. If you speak a language other than English, go to a country that matches the language. If you don’t already speak another language fluently, spend the next 3-4 years learning it. Often someone with American radio experience (which is highly prized around the world) who also is fluent in Dutch or German or Spanish or Norwegian or Japanese can land a radio job in the appropriate country with surprising ease. Or, if you only speak English, emigrate to the UK or Australia or New Zealand or Canada. And be sure to send me a postcard when you do.....
