DO I OWN MY PRODUCTION WORK?
QUESTION FOR DAN O’DAY:
I have been offered work for my audio production skills at a local 5-station radio conglomerate. If I take the job, what kind of rights will I legally have to the stuff I produce?
DAN REPLIES:
None. If you are being paid a salary to produce the stuff, then it would be classified as "work for hire."
Why do so many radio stations sound alike? How can you create a unique on-air identity for your station?
