5. WRATH<\/span><\/strong><\/span> \u2013 Getting mad about what the competition is doing and letting that affect your promos. (Example: You believe the competition is copying you, so you start adding words such as \u201coriginal\u201d and \u201cfirst.\u201d) Those words only invite the listener to check out the competition.<\/p>\n

6. <\/strong><\/span>ENVY<\/span><\/strong><\/span> \u2013 Making your work sound like someone else\u2019s. Aspiring to sound as good as Eric Chase or John Frost is healthy…until you start ripping off their work.<\/p>\n

7. PRIDE<\/span><\/strong><\/span> \u2013 Don\u2019t believe your own hype.<\/p>\n
