Here’s a brilliant marketing idea I’ve had in my files for six years \u2014 trying to figure out how to share it with others without offending some people.<\/span><\/p>\n

I suppose I still might manage to offend someone, but you<\/span> came here<\/span>; at least I didn’t put this in your email box.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was forwarded to me by radio programming consultant Jaye Albright.<\/span><\/p>\n

The accompanying note explained that a sports shop in Germany promoted its grand opening by advertising this offer:<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

“Get dressed for free, from head to toe, first come first serve. Only condition: come naked.”<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Not all of the photographs taken during the grand opening were as coyly posed as these. I’ve thoughtfully decided to shield you from the more interesting \u2014 I mean, more graphic \u2014 shots.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n
