It also was, I believed, accurate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Recording and editing your voice for audiobooks doesn&#8217;t require processing or sound layering or mixing. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">If you know how to do that basic level of audio editing, you know that it really isn&#8217;t difficult.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">But some people were outraged at my blasphemous comparison of the use of a TV remote and their audio editing artistry.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">So\u2026.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Recently I conducted a poll on Facebook:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>This is a real survey.<\/strong> Seriously. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>If<\/strong> you know how to edit audio digitally <strong>and<\/strong> you have in your possession a Universal Remote Control for your TV\/DVD\/Cable\/Satellite, etc\u2026. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Please tell me which <strong>one<\/strong> of these statements is accurate for you: \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">A) I still haven&#8217;t figured out how to use all the buttons on the universal remote control and wish they wouldn&#8217;t make it so confusing. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">B) I know how to use all the buttons on the universal remote control, but at first it was confusing and frustrating. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">C) I know how to use all the buttons on the universal remote control, and I never found it confusing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The results?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Remember, all of the respondents already are experienced at audio editing. They&#8217;re not newbies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>37%<\/strong> responded <strong>A:<\/strong> &#8220;I still haven&#8217;t figured out how to use all the buttons on the universal remote control and wish they wouldn&#8217;t make it so confusing.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>34%<\/strong> responded <strong>B:<\/strong> &#8220;I know how to use all the buttons on the universal remote control, but at first it was confusing and frustrating.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">That&#8217;s 71% who agreed with me, which leaves only <strong>29% who answered C:<\/strong> &#8220;I know how to use all the buttons on the universal remote control, and I never found it confusing.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Does that mean that producing audiobooks is easier than watching television?
