(Note to Self: Maybe it&#8217;s time to replace the long-dead scanner.) But here is a homemade photo of the full-page ad:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<div id=\"attachment_1065\" style=\"width: 355px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1065\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1065\" title=\"BigBrother1-50\" src=\"http:\/\/danoday.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/BigBrother1-50.jpg\" alt=\"radio advertising graphic\" width=\"345\" height=\"461\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1065\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Ad I Ripped Out Of A Magazine<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The instructions to the reader:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">1.<\/span> THINK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">2.<\/span> TAKE CAMERA PHONE PICTURE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">3.<\/span> SEND TO SOMEONE DESERVING<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">4.<\/span> BASK IN YOUR AMAZINGTUDE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Immediately above the orange box it says:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>CENTER YOUR CAMERA ON TEXT AND CLICK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">And a close-up of the box within the ad:<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1073\" title=\"BigBrother2-50\" src=\"http:\/\/danoday.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/BigBrother2-50.jpg\" alt=\"radio commercial copywriting graphic\" width=\"345\" height=\"461\" \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This advertisement intersects the lives of its readers \u2014 the majority of whom have cell phones that take pictures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">It gives a very clear, specific, step-by-step Call To Action.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">And it&#8217;s viral.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Perhaps only 2% of that ad&#8217;s readers (I&#8217;m making up a percentage to illustrate this point) would be interested in beoming a Big Brother.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">But 90% of them <strong>know<\/strong> someone whom they think would be a good Big Brother.
