I just noticed that 2 out of 9,003 viewers indicated they dislike this recording of a prank phone call by possibly the funniest radio character ever…a creation of the world’s best radio personality, Gary Burbank.
While there were funnier Gilbert Gnarley calls, it’s unlikely any of them had a more simply funny premise.

I loved listening to Gary growing up. One of my heroes! I also remember Gilbert calling Crest complaining that their “tartar sauce” (tartar control toothpaste) didn’t taste right on fish sticks.
I loved it!
I grew up in the Louisville area heard Gary at a young age…both of us were young for that matter. When he moved to WLW I could not always pick up the station but it seemed like I could when the weather was snow snow snow. Gary had the funniest weather related closings and delays I ever heard.
