I always enjoy learning something new about people’s lives.
When I shot this video with Steve Marvel, a comment he made about narrating audiobooks made me aware of something I’d never realized about actors in general.
It comes at around 1:20 of this brief video.
It never had occurred to me, but as soon as I heard it I recognized a major difference between a voice artist winning, say, a commercial audition vs. a stage or film actor winning meaty acting role:
For the stage or film actor, the fear comes only after winning the audition.
I don’t know about you, but I enjoy accidentally learning something new once in a while.
