  The saddest part is, that is actually the CEO– it’s not a computer generated impersonation, the CEO is actually computer generated….

  “If they were working nights or weekends they weren’t very good – we’ve done the audience a favour”.

  That reminds me of a comment by the then CEO (now Executive President) of Global Radio – the largest radio group here in the UK – announcing the decision to network even more programming across their ‘Heart’ (Hot AC) stations: “I’m afraid to say there are not 33 good mid-morning presenters in this country and there are not another 33 good afternoon presenters. I wish there were, but there aren’t.”

  @Paul: Sadly, I did not invent that line of dialogue, which was said by the then-CEO of an extremely large radio group…explaining, in part, why his company sacked 1,100 employees.
