In 2007, Don LaFontaine was scheduled to be a special guest speaker at my annual International Radio Creative & Voiceover Summit.

In preparation for his appearance, he sent me this video.

I’ve seen the opener with his family before, though I forget where. He was THE KING! undeniably and seemed to answer himself anyone who emailed his website.

I mailed him on a whim congratulating him on his Geico spot shortly after it started airing and was surprised I had a response within 24 hours in a tone that certainly seemed to be Don in anything I have seen him in. WOW!
