That’s great! I do wonder how much they spent on creating the “product” for the displays. No way any company would do that today.
As a native Twin Citian, I absolutely loved this story. Growing up in the 60’s and 70’s, KDWB-AM was my station. WCCO-AM was only good for two things…old folks and school closings. So, this story really hits home. I don’t remember the incident itself, though.
