HAHAHA I was just telling some non radio buddies about KYNO vacations!

I actually had that happen to me many years ago.

pfft…that’s nothing. I had someone attempt to take me job once during an extended lunch! “The kid” (the mid-day jock’s buddy) used the vacant production studio time to produce some Promos for the P.D., in a bid to show him how much better I was.

Lesson learned?; Don’t ever leave the station…not even to eat!

    * (typo)…”how much better HE was”

It would be funny if it wasn’t true!

Radio can’t be the only place where one has to be aware of this kind of thing… or perhaps that is what makes it radio?

  • Adam VanConant October 4, 2009, 11:29 am

I tried to laugh, but stopped. It’s sad but true.

It pays to have stock in U-Haul!

Well if you think about it, this is an industry where the main criteria is that your boss likes you, and your listeners will like. All boils down to opinion and luck… to an extent. Good Luck get you in, bad luck get you out.
