  I remember seeing this once on WGN TV when we first got cable, thinking it was possibly the funniest promo I’ve ever seen from a radio disk jockey (not that there’s a huge amount of competition for that category). I still think it is.

  The charming and delightful Ol’ Uncle Lar was truly one of a kind. Thanx for the memory. The other classic spot is the one that was shown in movie theaters in Chicago for many years….Uncle Lar hypnotizes a chicken!

  Wow that took me back! I couldn’t start my day without Larry Lujack’s Award Winning Cheap Trashy Showbiz Report and Animal Stories- double points if they played the elf jingle!
