    Yep, those ‘full disclosure’ rules certainly made broadcasters do what seemed silly at the time. What’s worse, the clamor to air those ‘put you to sleep’ announcements were not brought about by complaints from listeners who wanted more information. It was a ‘defensive’ strategy to keep the ‘competition’ from filing complaints.
