are u effing kidding me? best i canada? come on.. its decent.. but best in canada? maybe with 50 yr old men who drive quad cab pick ups and live in Langley.. but get real dude.. there is a dozen stations better in canada. Ratings say otherwise.

he’s right about the aristocarts…..I read an article in one of the trades a few years ago, originally designed by the CKNW chief engineer. I still have more then a few in my basement. The station I worked for used them all the time, but eventually went to audiopaks as apparently there were phasing and cueing problems with them used on the ITC 3d triple deckers.
nice studio…I could use one of those denon CD cart players 🙂
brother jake went on the air in 1983 with the new Q104 here in Halifax…he came back for a weekend last november to celebrate the Station’s 25th anniversary.
Am I the only one to have a copy of his record “disco’s in the garbage” from his days in winnipeg in 1980?

Yeah, I think I should’ve given the Aristrocart more respect. But in the heat of the spontaneous video shooting, I didn’t think clearly enough.
