I tried so hard to find someone who knew someone who could get me on the set — on the ship they used for much of their shooting. I failed. Now I’m going to have a good cry.

after watching the trailer i am VERY excited about the movie!!
@ JULIE: Yeah, I had lunch with a friend yesterday, told him about the movie and he said, “I’ll be in the theater the day it opens!” Just makes me feel worse, of course….
Of course, these days, jocks just sit at home and record their radio programs then email the stuff to the station…at least that’s what several friends from the old radio days are doing now…so they don’t have to brave seasickness any longer. (grin)
Believe me, though, in my 30 years in radio, I woulda done it just to say I had been there.
