TELESEMINAR REGISTRATION CLOSES TONIGHT AT 9:00 (EDT)

NOTE: Today’s REAL posting is immediately below this teleseminar update.

This is the last day to sign up for Tuesday’s teleseminar, HOW TO GET PAST THE GATEKEEPER: Advanced Strategies for Sales Professionals. Registration closes at 9:00PM EDT today.

A quick look at the roster reveals the kinds of professionals who have registered include Radio Station Owners, Voiceover Artists, Sales Managers, Station Managers, “Vendors” (companies that sell services to media companies), and Account Executives.

I’m particularly pleased to see voiceover artists among the registrants, because you don’t need to have “Sales” in your job title to profit from this course. It’s for anyone who sometimes needs to reach someone on the phone — but can’t get past that person’s gatekeeper.

Check out the uncensored reviews (in their own voices) from previous attendees.

I have tried to get my building involved (I am just an air talent /
producer). I would buy in this time but …times are tough …forty bucks to my name as of the beginning of the month !!
    next time buddy ….

i have a huge favor ? you have an earpiercing “S” when you speak on your previous recorded seminars and I tryed to turn all my trebles and mids down and it sorta took care of the problem but it was definatly still there if you did it on purpose, Your a genius !

Depending upon which one you’re referring to, that’s due either to the bridge line or to the fact that I recorded it off the phone line here (I don’t have a hybrid patch).

With this one, however, I’ve switched to a rather expensive, much better quality bridge line. And the recording is being made offsite, at a professional studio.

So the recording should be quite good. But it’ll be made available only to the registrants for tomorrow’s call.

I don’t think I can make it…I’m in one of our other markets tomorrow. Will it be available to download later?

  • Dan O’Day October 13, 2008, 12:36 pm

    @ John: Sorry, it won’t.

If you don’t mind missing the “live” portion — including the chance to ask questions — you still can register today and you’ll receive the Study Guide and, within a day after the live teleseminar, the entire mp3 recording.

So you could call a sales meeting, distribute copies of the Study Guide, play the recorded audio — and it would be ALMOST exactly as though it were live.

I fondly remember attending it in person a while back

I cannot do it tomorrow, but please keep me on your list. Most of the things you have been saying in your e-mails are what I have come to believe. People around hear are shocked when I don’t jump on their “paint the barn and put on a show” ideas.
“For all of your hardware needs…”
The Christmas “package” that look like the Valentine package with different clip art.
    Stuff like that.
It is good to know that there are true believers out there. I am surrounded by pagans.

Thanks for this opportunity, Dan. Unfortunetly, corporate never pays for any of your informative products, so it comes out of my shallow pockets. Maybe you should consider doing a seminar on how to get CFO’s cough up money for your seminars.

  • Dan O’Day October 13, 2008, 1:52 pm

@ Will – Although I’m long on record as saying companies should continually invest in professional-level education for their employees, I’ve also long believed that if something will advance your career but your employer won’t pay for it, then it’s up to you to invest in your own career.

In this case, if you’re an account executive and this teleseminar really does deliver on its promise — to teach you how to get more decision makers to take your call — then if this results in your landing just ONE new account you’ll already have made a profit many times over.

I still get fascinated with all of your seminars & all. Our company has gone really cheap I don't even have an expense account anymore..but I will forward the seminar information to my GSM and see what happens.
