Just wondering how that next interview will go…and the next…and the next.

Didn’t someone once say that these events can be taken as an opportunity? Not that he can’t feel a bit jaded; still there’s nothing like cutting of your nose to spite your face!

    Hi Dan,
Sorry to tell you but that whole thing was a hoax. Apparently the jock was moving to another market anyway, and decided to do this as a stunt for ratings for his old station.

@ Ian: Someone had told me it was rumored to be a stunt. I’m not sure how that would help the station’s ratings, and the vitriolic naming of names seems odd. But you never know….

I think Howard Stern did it in the late 70s…

If it is real, that’s probably the most unprofessional thing I’ve ever heard on the radio. We’re not always rational when we’re pissed off. Not that you don’t have a right to be angry (keep in mind in this case we’re only hearing one side of the story) but don’t make a career decision in a matter of minutes or seconds on the air. Would anyone hire this person again?
