    • This is the last time we’ll teach this class due to the increasing impossibility for Jim Johnson and me to juggle our respective schedules. (Each year’s class requires nearly 3 months on our end.)

  1. I liked the way he taught the drag in the upswing at the end of a line in an Irish accent, a detail I hadn’t run t heard explained before. I look forward to your next video.

    • Great! I love the reaction of the two women when he demonstrates that — kind of shocked that an American would understand that.

I think my favorite part of the class is learning how numerous accents have virtually identical intonations (what I think of as the “melody”)…differentiated by just the slightest change in vocal placement.

    • The class runs from mid-March until mid-April.

All live classes are recorded (both audio and video), so if you’re unable to attend one or more of them live you’ll still be able to experience them afterward — according to your own schedule.

There always are a couple of people who never attend any of the live classes, due to time zone differences or their work schedules.
