    I agree this was lame…but the copywriter WAS hampered by the tired “priceless” campaign concept and copy structure that’s been running for over 20 years. It’s hard to imagine a spot that would have been that much better. MY issue is, so you buy a prepaid credit card…so you can pay BILLS? Why is that easier than just paying online using your bank account? Again not the copywriter’s fault. The REAL benefit of the card is buried in the announcer VO later — not racking up more debt. But then Mastercard can’t REALLY be against credit card interest and late fees, can it?
