    Hey Dan, Steven Wahlberg from West Hartford, CT. Happy New Year from your old stomping grounds!

    Great stuff (as always). I think I’m ready to take the next step.

  • Rich Grimshaw January 21, 2014, 5:35 pm

    Nice opening on this one, Dan. Very clever 🙂 As someone who has had little success and lots of rejections on ACX, this whole series has me interested in learning more. Keep ’em coming. Looking forward to seeing what the course will be like and how quickly I can sign up.

    Hey Dan – simple questions:

    When, how long, how much?

    Looking forward to the next one!

  • Dan O'Day January 21, 2014, 7:59 pm

    @Steven: Glad to hear it!

  • Dan O'Day January 21, 2014, 8:04 pm

    @Rich Grimshaw: Thanks, Rich. David Lawrence provided the narrator’s voice.

  • Dan O'Day January 21, 2014, 8:05 pm

    @J Rodney Turner: 1. Very soon. 2. Over a period of several weeks. 3. How much ya got?

  • Kathleen Roche-Zujko January 21, 2014, 9:06 pm

    I think there’s a technical problem, fyi. Problem playing from here AND from the “alternate version” suggested. I let it load for about 1/2 hour, then it stopped somewhere in the middle and went to the beginning. Liked what I was hearing, tho! I’ll try again tomorrow. 🙂

  • Dan O'Day January 21, 2014, 10:02 pm

    @Kathleen Roche-Zujko: I have changed the video encoding from “HD” to “Standard,” which might help anyone who has a slow or intermittent broadband connection.

    Hi Dan. I’m thrilled that you and David are offering this master class. I’m already making note of questions to ask during the class itself.

  • Dan O'Day January 22, 2014, 9:43 am

    @Liz Harris: We’ll save you a spot!

  • David Gilmore January 22, 2014, 9:51 am

    Whaaaaat? You’re from West Hartford??? I’M FROM WEST HARTFORD!!!!! Is it karma? Looking forward to learning more! 🙂

  • Dan O'Day January 22, 2014, 10:04 am

    @David GilmoreYep. Morley School. The Fern Street Pool in summer. Movies at the Colonial Theater when it was a movie theater, not a shopping mall. You realize, of course, that West Hartford patriotism requires you to sign up for our class, right?

  • Steve Nellis January 23, 2014, 6:19 pm

    Thanks, Dan, for these 3 videos… a wealth of information and inspiration, especially for someone like me, just getting started. Is the Master class with you and David going to be online or live in CA?

  • Dan O'Day January 23, 2014, 9:28 pm

    @Steve Nellis: Glad the videos have been helpful, Steve!

    The class will be taught live, accessible from anywhere in the world. All the details are coming very soon….

  • Paul Saunders January 24, 2014, 8:54 am

    Let me know the details as soon as possible – plus I also have and additional outlet for narrated products

  • Tom January 24, 2014, 10:06 am

    Just completed my first audiobook on ACX (and yes, I used David’s recording and editing technique).

    Now I just need to move someplace QUIET.
