HOW WAS THE FACEBOOK MARKETING TELESEMINAR?

facebook marketing for dummies

Amy Porterfield

Today we did an info-packed teleseminar with Amy Porterfield, author of FACEBOOK MARKETING ALL-IN-ONE FOR DUMMIES.

This posting is for attendees to share their own honest reviews of the teleseminar.

I thought there was a ton of good info. But maybe I’m biased.

If you were there, what did you think?

P.S. Here’s where to get your copy of Amy’s book on Facebook Marketing.

Fantastic! Thanks, Dan and Amy. I’ve heard tons of people tell me I have to be on facebook, but now I know why and how to do it. Great stuff!

Thanks to you and Amy for a great session — she spent enough time on the fundamentals without being boring, and dug in to advanced topics effortlessly — I’ll be listening again!

The first 3o minutes and the 9 top things Amy says we should be doing as a radio station on FB were very powerful!

Awesome, Couldn’t take notes fast enough. Can’t wait to put into practice some of the “guerilla” FB tactics mentioned. Thank you Amy & Dan !

Wow, Dan, I LOVED this teleseminar. I tried one of the suggestions (which actually included 2 of Amy’s suggestions) on our Station FB Page, and it got a MUCH better response then usual! Almost an hour later I’m still getting unique responses/comments. By addressing the folks by name and responding to their comment, I’m getting a lot of dialogue too! You have no idea how important this seminar was at the right time. Thank you, and please thank Amy for me. I’m gonna get Amy’s book, too.

    So simple, yet sooooooooooo overlooked.

Dan, another valuable tele-seminar. Amy did an awesome job connected the dots for me on the most salient points and activities in marketing on Facebook. This seminar turned on the lights in a BIG way!
    Thanks again. – Jim Raposa

I feel like 90 minutes couldn’t touch the surface! I would listen to another seminar given by Amy. Very insightful. Thanks.

Your Facebook Marketing Seminar with Amy was time well spent! Several great ideas I need to implement immediately. I’m especially happy that you have the audio still available as I was listening while driving so I couldn’t take notes.

Funny, you didn’t urge people to post on your Facebook profile! Thanks again Dan for offering such quality information that fits our budget 😉

Really enjoyed the teleseminar today. It was nice to see we are on the right path with what we are doing. Learned a lot that I’d like to get on the page now. Thanks. As always I learn a lot from you.

Dan and Amy, the teleconference was very good! The radio industry is walking a slippery slope when it comes to using Facebook the “right” way. What you and Amy provided yesterday was a playbook for long-term success…now it’s up to our industry to apply these principles. If there were a secondary conference, I think it would be extremely beneficial to discuss the possibilities of how radio stations could (if possible) effectively incorporate their advertisers into their Facebook page – as that is a challenge we face as more and more clients are going (Lady) gaga over social marketing.

  • Dan O'Day September 29, 2011, 10:17 am

@Jason C: That’s an interesting idea. I’ll talk to Amy and see if it’s feasible for us to create a full seminar around that topic.
