WHY HAVING PEOPLE “LIKE” YOUR RADIO STATION ISN’T ENOUGH

radio Facebook fan pageIs your radio station trying to bribe, cajole or otherwise influence listeners to click on your Facebook fan page’s “Like'” button?

If so, ask yourself this question about your station’s brand:

What percentage of your listeners/advertisers/supporters would click on an “I Love And Wholeheartedly Recommend” button?

That’s the kind of support a winning brand needs.

Most stations don’t have to worry about this issue. I haven’t liked what has come out of my radio in almost 20 years. As soon as the giants stop homogenizing everything we can get back liking our radios if the internet stations havet replaced them.

Liking a station is nothing to do with loyalty. And sadly I see stations with tens of thousands of friends who getting theur asses handed to them.
