MONDAY RADIO COMMERCIAL SMACKDOWN: Let’s Repeat The Radio Advertisers’ Refrain In Unison:

Before you read anything else on this page, please listen to this audio. Hit the “play” button and then look away from your monitor.

Done?

Great.

Now….What valuable information did you take away from hearing that commercial, which was broadcast on a big Los Angeles radio station?

Can you even tell me what it was about (other than, perhaps, “about” MotorVillageLA.com”)?

On behalf of that advertising client, let’s say it all together now:

“I tried radio…and it didn’t work.”

Wonder why.

Well…I learned the Italians really know how to build cars. Other than that, not a heck of a lot.

I also learned the announcer doesn’t know how to pronounce Fiat. However, Top Gear may be spoiling me.

Other than Motor Village LA, and some claim about Italians really knowing how to build cars, it triggered a comedian who used to do a bit about what car names spell. In this case, Fiat, was Fix It Again, Tony – which seemed to contradict the claim about how well they were made.
