Yes it was. He was one of a kind. From my earliest memories to the end of his days he brought me so much laughter and joy. I wish he could have remained with us for another 100 years.

an amazing talent…especially so in that he knew what was funny in so many different languages. he could even make puns with music.
Talents like his come to us perhaps two or three times in a generation. I’m going to find a DVD with his performances. Love it, Dan. Thanks.
