Actually, a lot more interesting than I expected. The questions were quite good and the answers even better. Some of the websites mentioned by both students and faculty appear to be quite informative.

I’m especially appreciative of the “raise your hand” housekeeping action. Whoever came up with that should be elected to the Teleclass Hall of Fame! What a great way to bring order and structure to this type of venue, where in the past, numbers of people try and speak at the same time, wasting time.

Well, just got back from the library where I checked out my audiobooks and now I’m off to the periodontist. ( I know, too much information.)

Will check back in tonight for “getting things done”.

I really enjoyed last night's question/answer class since everyone's questions
mirrored my own and more to the point, you both answered them thoroughly and your combined insights into radio and marketing/ business backgrounds added more dimension and the depth to the information!

I did have one remaining question which was to reprise the three parts or 'hats' of running a business, regarding the responsibilities of the 'entrepreneur - manager - and craftsman'. I have the category and job outline straight on the 'craftsman' but as to the entrepreneur and manager, aside from the concept to have a business in the first place, I think I'm blurring their duties a bit. Is this the entrepreneur who does the marketing and promoting - and it is the manager amasses and manipulates the components - the nuts and bolts direction of how the product is accomplished?

In any case, I am getting a lot out of the class and working on the assignments as well! I still kind of wish I could hear Harlan a bit louder over my speakerphone though! :-) I am typing notes as the class is progressing(because my handwriting is like a doctor's!) and I'm avoiding that special kink-in-the-neck of cramping the receiver between your shoulder and chin!

Another interesting and informative session last night! Do you guys ever sleep? I noticed my mp3 file from last night was sent in the wee hours of the morning! Thanks for your dedication to your craft, and your willingness to share the realities of making a VO business a success!

I asked the question last night about time management to balance the various aspects of a VO career, and the other question about whether you'll discuss financial software in an upcoming program. I am so impressed not only with your knowledge, but also the gracious, respectful, and often humorous way you answer everyone's questions in turn. Summoning up the courage to ask a question in an unseen forum is huge for me, but when the answers are genuine and thoughtful, it sets up a true give and take learning environment. That's incredibly hard to do when you don't even get to see who you are talking to! I marvel that you two are pulling it off beautifully!

Lastly, Dan, please remember to send us the email link about your discussion email with Ann de Wigg. (You asked to be reminded last night.)

I'm looking forward to tonight's session, and am getting onto my FB to join our newly formed group!

Good session last night. I liked the way you could raise your hand without stepping on anyone. I jotted a lot of great ideas down.
